Social Media Specialist

(Internship with possibility of extension)

WHAT’S IT LIKE BEING A SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST AT WIRKN? 

Join one of Montreal’s rapidly growing startups: We are looking for a passionate and hard-working Social Media Specialist who enjoys building online communities, a collaborative company culture and thrives on results. 

This is a 3-6 month paid (work from home) internship, including up to 20 hours per week, with possible extension. 

ROLE & REQUIRED SKILLS

• B2C: Help us reach new heights through engaging candidate recruitment content for North America’s biggest brands.

• B2B: Help develop and publish LinkedIn social media content that engages and nurtures prospects.

• Help brainstorm and draft a seasonal editorial calendar.

• Contribute to asset management and creation with external stakeholders. 

• Manage and publish successful social media content on the following social media platforms: 
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Tik Tok 
  • LinkedIn (a plus) 

• Great copywriting and copy editing skills;

• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects/deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

• Use and manage analytics tracking tools including Google Analytics, UTM, Bitly tracking. 

• Willing to learn about making data-driven decisions, ability to adapt to new or changing directions based on performance and market demands;

A PLUS IF YOU HAVE: 

• Some experience with photoshop (or equivalent digital media editing tools);
• Community management experience ;
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite.
